SOS Summer Picnic - Lake Nokomis Minneapolis

A picnic of a different kind

June 21st

Science of Spirituality organized an all day picnic on a gorgeous Saturday Jun 21.  About 61 regular members and guests enjoyed a perfect summer day at Lake Nokomis.  The difference was that it was all vegetarian food only and the participants meditated to thank nature and absorb the moments forever. The group welcomed summer with vegetarian barbeque food, plenty of games and sports for children and grown-ups and kite flying.  After an active day every one meditated and sang songs.  At the end of the picnic no one was ready to leave had a brief storm not shown its guts late evening.  Overall a memorable picnic day.
