Maharaj Ji's birthday celebrated with Love and Devotion

Over 50 satsangis joined together to celebrate the birth anniversaries of Sant Darshan Singh Ji Maharaj (Sept. 14th) and Sant Rajinder Singh Ji Maharaj (Sept. 20th) in Eagan, MN. The celebration also concluded a 2-week long meditation commitment dedicated to Sant Rajinder Singh Ji Maharaj on his birthday - a project called "Meditation, Dedication, Celebration." Members of the satsang tracked and collected "meditation minutes" dedicated to Maharaj Ji. The evening's program started with a meditation session followed by a video satsang by Maharaj Ji, entitled, "Love and Devotion". His crisp message on Love as the universal language to communicate with God came out strong and clear. Maharaj Ji related several stories to explain the need of passion for God. The path to God is a path of love, and the stronger our love for the Lord, the sooner we will get to the divine. Maharaj Ji also stressed the importance of following the commandments of the spiritual Masters giving examples from the life of Guru Ramdas who followed the guidance of his spiritual Master impeccably and was eventually chosen as his successor. Following the video satsang, participants shared their inspirations on the spiritual path. Each attendee shared one or more favorite quotes that have served as inspirations to them on the path. It was heartening to see the theme of Love and Oneness in all life forms as the foundation for universal love emerged from all inspirations. At the end of the program, attendees cut a beautiful birthday cake to celebrate the birth anniversaries of the two spiritual Masters, and shared some social time together. The minutes for the "Meditation, Dedication, Celebration" project were summed up at the end. The Minnesota satsangis dedicated over 7500 minutes in two weeks to Maharaj Ji.
